Internet Explorer Webmail Users: Website reported as unsafe

Some users who access webmail using newer versions of Internet Explorer may be greeted with a red warning screen when attempting to log into their webmail (web based email) account.  This is what we believe to be a FALSE Warning from Microsoft regarding our Webmail Platform.  We have submitted a request to Microsoft asking that they review our site and give further explanation.

SmartScreen Filter is a feature in Internet Explorer 8 that helps you avoid socially engineered malware phishing websites and online fraud when you browse the web.  We have researched this issue and have submitted that the filter be removed from our webmail. We are sorry for the inconvenience, please click on the link below to remove this filter from your webmail or use a different browser for the time being.  We reccomend use of the Crome browser by Google.

We reccomend that users of our SmarterMail Webmail System bypass or disable the SmartScreen Filter.  Please view the video below for instructions on doing this

To turn off SmartScreen Filter, follow these steps:

  1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button. In the search box, typeInternet Explorer, and then, in the list of results, click Internet Explorer.

  2. Click the Safety button, point to SmartScreen Filter, and then click Turn Off SmartScreen Filter.

  3. In the Microsoft SmartScreen Filter dialog box, click OK.
