How to Set Up Outlook Express 5.0 - 6.0 to Send and Receive Email

| 1. | Open Outlook Express.

| 2. | From the Tools menu, choose Accounts.
Note: If you have never configured, or used, your Outlook Express email program, at this point the Internet Connection Wizard will open automatically. In such a situation, go directly to step 4.

| 3. | Click the Add button and choose Mail.
|
| 4. | In the Display name field, type your full name.
|
| 5. | Click the Next button.
|
| 6. | In the E-mail address field, type your full email address (e.g., johndoe@domain.com).
|
| 7. | Click the Next button.
|
| 8. | Click the down arrow on the My incoming mail is a ____ server drop-down list and choose POP3.
|
| 9. | In the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server field, type your Incoming mail server (POP).
- Standard Email Users: mail.domainname.com *replace with your own domain name
|
| 10. | In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server field, type your Outgoing mail server (SMTP).
- Standard Email Users: smtp.domainname.com *replace with your own domain name
- Standard Users should enable SMTP Authentication
- Legacy Users can send without SMTP Authentication but must be on an IP address cleared by our filters.

| 11. | Click the Next button.

| 12. | In the Account name field, type your full email address (ex. , johndoe@dytek.net).
- Legacy users please contact us for your email account name (ex. domain.johndoe or johndoe)

| 13. | In the Password field, type your email password.
|
| 14. | Check the box next to Remember passwordif you wish to save your password.
|
| 15. | Click the Next button.
|
| 16. | Click the Finish button.
|
| 17. | Click the Close button.
|
| 18. | Close Outlook Express. |
