Using Complex Passwords

At Dytek we make it a requirement and highly recommend that all of our customers pick complex passwords for all of your accounts and services.  Below are our recommendations for what makes a complex password:
 
  • At least 8 Characters in length
  • At least one UPPERCASE letter
  • At least one LOWERCASE letter
  • At least one NUMBER
  • At least one SPECIAL CHARACTER (!@#$%^*<>?:;~)
  • Does not include part of your login or username
  • Different from other passwords you may have
  • Changed at least every 6 months
Try to Google "Random Password Generator" if you need help to generate a random password.
